Environmental Action Plan

As the goal of the new CSR Medium-term Roadmap from 2016 to 2018, the Hitachi Chemical Group has been engaged in Groupwide initiatives pursuant to the following environmental action plan. In fiscal 2017, the second year of the plan, we achieved beyond the target in the category of ‘Improve energy consumed per production unit’ whilst we are below the targets in ‘Rate of resource usage reduction’ and ‘GREEN21:2018.’ We continue making our effort to reach the goals in all categories in the next fiscal year - the final year of the plan.
